Where We Go & What We Do

We believe the church must go to the people — not wait for the people to come to the church.

Street outreach ministry Toronto Keele Jane Wilson

Keele Street Outreach

Every month, our outreach team of 15–20 trained volunteers takes to the streets of the Keele, Jane, and Wilson corridors — one of Toronto's most diverse and underserved areas. We distribute food hampers, hygiene kits, and warm prayer to individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty.

Beyond material provision, our team builds relationships — returning to the same locations regularly so that people know they are remembered and cared for as individuals, not statistics.

Frequency: Third Saturday of every month  |  Meet at: 1-1763 Keele St, 9:00 AM

Food Bank Partnership

We partner with the North York Community Food Bank and Keele-Eglinton Emergency Food Bank to ensure no family in our neighbourhood goes without food. Our congregation regularly contributes non-perishables, and our programs provide supplemental grocery hampers to families enrolled in our support services.

Hamper Distribution: Every Tuesday, 4:00–6:00 PM  |  No requirement to attend services

Prison Chaplaincy

Our pastoral team volunteers as chaplains at a local correctional facility, providing spiritual care, Bible study, and supportive visits for incarcerated individuals. We also offer reintegration support for those re-entering the community upon release.

Schedule: Bi-weekly visits, Thursday mornings

Newcomer Support

Toronto receives thousands of new immigrants each year, many from Portuguese-speaking countries. We provide welcome packages, translation assistance, settlement navigation, connections to legal aid, and a warm community for newly arrived families who have no local support network.

Toronto Social Service Partnerships

We actively partner with City of Toronto services, CAMH community referral networks, the Black Creek Community Health Centre, and multiple neighbourhood organizations to ensure our congregants and outreach contacts receive holistic, coordinated care beyond what we provide directly.

Referrals: Coordinated through our pastoral team
